    You will assist the NPD Manager in the daily project management of all strategic and customer led projects. Ensure deadlines are met and products are developed to the highest standards of quality and taste, whilst ensuring a smooth launch and timely delivery.

    The successful candidate will drive to continuously improve existing products to meet the needs of our customers, whilst ensuring products are safe, legal, meet quality standards, the LUUK Brand standards and are developed to budget.

    You will be responsible for the creation and management of project specific paperwork for the weekly NPD and project sign off meetings.

    Attend factory trials, supporting the Process development team to ensure that projects follow the NPD process and match the concept signed off by the customer/business.

    Manage and co-ordinate Micro and nutritional testing for NPD products in line with critical path timelines.

    The successful candidate will be

    • Educated to degree level in Food Science or equivalent.

    • Have an understanding of project management skills and how to launch a project from concept through to launch.

    • Be able to demonstrate good cross functional working skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to given timescales.

    • Have an understanding of manufacturing process and methodology in order to facilitate the smooth transition from concept to finished product.

    • A proven ability to launch and deliver products to demanding profitability KPIs.

    Most importantly you will be a keen Foodie, with good culinary knowledge and a strong desire to learn.

    The suitable candidate will be responsible for a team of supervisors and hygiene staff to improve and maintain high standards throughout the factory.

    Key Responsibilities

    – Ensuring the full production area is cleaned to a high standard
    – Ensuring attention to detail is met when breaking down machines, cleaning and then reassembling them
    – Ensuring all documentation is completed and forms maintained
